1. Log in to Workable:
- Navigate to Workable Login and log in using your credentials.
2. Navigate to the Job Posting Section:
- Click on the “Jobs” tab on the left-hand side menu.
- Select “Create a New Job” or click on the “+ Add a Job” button.
3. Enter Job Details:
- Fill out the basic information for the job position, including:
- Job Title: Enter the full name of the role.
- Department: Choose the appropriate department from the dropdown menu.
- Location: Specify the job location.
4. Add the Job Code:

In the Job Code field, enter the code in the following format:
- INT for internal roles.
- EXT for external roles.
- Followed by a 3-letter prefix representing the first letters of the job title and 4 digits (e.g., Business Development Representative: INT-BDR-1234).
Example:
- For an internal Marketing Manager role:
INT-MAR-0001
- For an external Sales Associate role:
EXT-SAL-0002
5. Fill in the Job Description:
- Provide a detailed description of the job responsibilities, qualifications, and any other relevant information.
6. Important Note:
- To ensure the salary is visible to candidates, please include the salary rate in the Job Description under the “Benefits” section.
7. Set Up Hiring Stages:
- Under the “Hiring Stages” section, customize the recruitment process stages as needed, such as “Application Review,” “Phone Interview,” “Assessment,” etc.
8. Select Job Visibility:
- Choose whether the job will be published internally only or visible to external candidates as well.
9. Review and Save the Job Posting:
- Review all the information entered to ensure accuracy.
- Click the “Save” or “Post Job” button at the bottom of the page.
11. Publish the Job:
- If you are ready to go live, click on the “Publish” button. The job will now be visible based on the visibility settings selected in Step 8.
12. Verify the Posting:
- Go to the “Jobs” tab and verify that the new role has been posted with the correct details and job code.
13. Notify the Team:
- Once the job is posted, notify the relevant team members that the position is live.
