Team Member of the Quarter Program Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Quarterly Excellence. Everyday Impact.

  1. What happens if I had one attendance infraction during the quarter?
Unfortunately, any infraction (Example: late, missed, or abandoned shift) during the review period makes a team member ineligible for that quarter. However, you can still work toward qualifying in the next quarter. You are encouraged to review your timesheet carefully and request a time adjustment if it is valid.

  2. If I applied for a PTO, would that affect my eligibility?
Not at all. Approved Paid Time Off (PTO) does not count as an infraction and will not affect your eligibility, as long as the leave was properly filed and communicated in advance. We recognize the importance of rest and personal time.

  3. Can I still be considered if I had a one-time issue like an internet outage or emergency?
Internet outages will still be considered an infraction, as it is each team member’s responsibility to have a backup device and connection. However, genuine emergencies will be reviewed fairly on a case-by-case basis, with proper notification to the partner and Extenteam. Please note that repeated emergencies may indicate a pattern and could affect eligibility.

  4. What is considered timesheet manipulation?

Timesheet manipulation refers to any attempt to falsify or misrepresent your work activity to appear active when you are not. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Logging time without actually working
    • Using auto-clickers or mouse movers to simulate activity
    • Installing tools like Caffeine, Move Mouse, or similar apps to prevent idle status
    • Recording or playing macros to mimic user interaction
    • Placing a heavy object on the keyboard or mouse to keep the system active
    • Logging in but not performing actual work duties

These actions are clear violations of trust and professionalism. If discovered, they will result in disqualification from the TMQ program and may lead to further disciplinary action.

  5. What if I have changing shifts within the quarter? Some in AM/PM and some in the after-hours?
If you had both AM/PM and after-hours shifts during the same quarter, your benchmark activity level would be a weighted average based on the number of days you worked in each shift type.

  6. What if my partner did not give any feedback during the quarter?
If your partner did not provide feedback this quarter, don’t worry, HR will still assess your performance based on reliability, professionalism, and alignment with our core values. While partner feedback is important, it’s only part of the overall evaluation. Our Partner Success team also makes efforts to proactively reach out and gather feedback from partners, so your contributions don’t go unnoticed. In the meantime, we encourage you to continue building open, consistent communication with your partner to strengthen that relationship.

  7. What if I have low workload from my partner or client, will that affect my eligibility?

We understand that workload may vary across roles and time periods. Low workload alone will not disqualify you, but efforts to stay proactive, engaged, and visible will be considered during the review. Activity levels are reviewed alongside partner and HR feedback to ensure a fair and balanced evaluation.

If you experience low workload, here are some things you can do (without manipulating your timesheet) to stay productive and meet expectations:

    • Ask your partner or supervisor for additional tasks or responsibilities
    • Support other team members or volunteer for internal projects
    • Review past tasks or documentation to find areas for improvement
    • Participate in training or self-paced learning (with approval)
    • Communicate regularly with your lead to show initiative and transparency
    • Create or update internal guides, SOPs, or team documentation
    • Help test internal tools or provide feedback to improve workflows
    • Organize your work folders, documentation, or task lists for better efficiency
Read up on industry trends, tools, or best practices related to your role (with approval)

  8. How can I improve my chances of being selected?

Maintain consistent performance, stay engaged during your shifts, avoid infractions, attend required check-ins and meetings, and build a strong working relationship with your partner.

  9. Can I win TMQ more than once?
Yes! As long as you continue to meet all eligibility requirements and stand out during the evaluation, you can be recognized in multiple quarters.

  10. What if I am reprofiled mid-quarter?

If you were reprofiled during the quarter, you can still be considered for TMQ as long as you stayed active, had no major infractions, and performed well. If you were on floating status for 2 weeks or less, you may still be eligible especially if both your former and new partner (or supervisor) gave good feedback. HR will consider your performance from both partners when reviewing your nomination.

  11. Who should I contact if I have questions or want to check my eligibility?
You may reach out to the HR Team directly via email (hrteam@extenteam.com) or your HR partner for any questions, clarifications, or concerns about your eligibility or status in the program.
